Zombie Bashing Hit is Available Now in a Theater-Style, Attraction Cabinet

Elk Grove Village, Ill. (December 7), 2006 - Sega Amusements USA, Inc. announces that the widely popular House of the Dead 4 (HOD4)^TM shooting game is now available in a motion, theater-style cabinet called House of the Dead 4 Special^TM. A limited quantity is available so place your pre-orders today.

"The HOD4 Special is a unique, one-of-a-kind zombie experience with spinning 2-player action and great special effects," states Account Executive Katie Collins, "It's an experience that keeps players coming back."

House of the Dead 4 Special^TM invites up to two players to board a 270° pivot seat that spins while fending attacking zombies from the front...and the back. The cabinet is designed with 2 opposite 100" DPL Front Projection Screens that players shoot at while in motion. Scared yet? Surround sound, air blasts and a vibrating seat add to the hellish experience.

Like the 29" Standard and 52" Deluxe machines, House of the Dead 4 Special^TM is powered by the beautifully engineered Lindbergh^TM hardware system. The attraction cabinet houses a modified version of the House of the Dead 4^TM software, but with new twists, a new storyline and even new characters. Zombie bashers will need to defend against new airborne weapons and must unlock new hidden objects to replenish their life meter. The machine gun units are also intense with realistic recoil, grenade and action buttons, and a simple one-click reload.

The cabinet is safe and secure and requires an attendant to operate it. The pivot seat comes equipped with a lap bar and seatbelts for optimal safety and the doors do not open while in motion. Movement in the cabinet is smooth, but a Motion Stop button is also in clear view for players wishing to stop the ride.
